Girls Camp

This summer I went to Young Women's Girls Camp for my church. This year I was a 4th year. My mom went also, she was the head cook. This year was also my 12 year old sister's 1st year going. Girls Camp is 1 week long, from Monday to Saturday. We had a lot of fun. There was an obstacle course, and certification, and of course our free time. On Monday night, the 5th and 6th years,( the oldest girls there), had a party, which included a dance and food. I met a bunch of new friends...and also got to see old friends again. It was nice. We had a little make-up "party". We had one person with a bunch of make up blind-folded, trying to put make-up on another girl. I was the girl being put make-up on. This year, I finally did one of our obstacle course's called "The Wall." It's a big huge board with no steps, or anything. You have to go over the wall with help from the girls in your group. I have a big fear of heights. And in my previous years, I never went over the wall. This year, I had one of my older friends on the top of the wall to help me over. She convinced me to go over the wall. So, I finally did it. This year was one of the best years ever.
